Does the New Testament teach Universal Salvation?

Looking at the New Testament text, several passages and verses indicate the idea of Universal Salvation or Restoration.  I will be mentioning few examples (just a sample), which clearly state or indicate a Universal Salvation. Most of the paragraphs focus on the impact of Christ’s redemption, and on God’s ultimate will for humanity: Romans 3: 23-24 “For  all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,  and are justified  by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus” It is clear that all the people mentioned, who have sinned (i.e. the total humanity that has fallen short of the Glory of God) are justified by His grace. Romans 5: 18 “Therefore, as one trespass led to condemnation for all men, so one act of righteousness leads to justification and life for all men” he above paragraph makes reference to the Biblical story of human fall into sin, and it clearly indicates that the Sin of Adam that brought death to the world, and led to conde

Why I believe in Universal Salvation?

After years of being a conservative Evangelical Christian, I now call myself, a Christian Universalist. Let me first explain what I mean by Christian Universalism, and then I will give you a few reasons why I feel led by God prophetically to become a Universalist, and the logical reasons for Universalism. Christian Universalism is the concept that God, through Christ's redemption, will save All people, whether they believe in Him in their earthly life or not. and I clearly adopted the Idea of Universalism, because: 1. Hell, with its everlasting fire which extends millions and millions of unending years is not a fair punishment for human sins, no matter how huge are these sins. It shows even more, if the only difference between these "sinners" and the "saved" is that they never properly heard of God's Love and Mercy. 2. If God did not intend to save all the people, why did he create them all, with His Fore-knowledge of all future deeds, and can't s

Did Jesus ever say He is God?

It is funny to hear many voices these days in the media and on You tube, some of whom has never read the Bible, saying that Jesus never claimed to be God, or that the trinity is not  a teaching of the Bible. From a person who has read the Bible so many times to keep count, and especially studied the New testament, I am outraged by what these guys claim. First, let us get some things straight: 1. Jesus did not come to testify to Himself, and on many instances He clearly told His disciples that he does not testify to Himself but His works does testify to who He was, (John 5: 36; John 10: 25), and the Scriptures does (John 5: 39), and the Disciples who lived with Jesus also testify (John 15: 27) because they have seen that He did only what God can do. It is not hidden for anybody who read the Bible at least once that Jesus always avoided declaring directly His true identity, because He focused on the mission He came to achieve, and knowing Him should be based on Divine revelati

If Two Muslims did the Boston Explosions, why should I defend Christianity?

I am amazed at the tendencies in public blogs and media, and the way they deal with such issues similar to the Boston bombings.  I was reading some comments on some news that came out earlier today that the two suspects are Muslim, and then I read an attack on Christianity and Christians claiming that it is the same whether you are a Muslim or a Christian, you can be somebody who does similar action, and practice violent acts in the name of religion.  I am not here to attack Islam or Muslims nor to defend them, as it is Muslim's role to prove the innocence of Islam from such actions and condemning it by word and by deed. Still I am fed up of such garbage being thrown in the face of Christians, and I am fed up with the aggressiveness against Christianity that I am seeing recently in the secular media.  Enough is enough. You can't equate the Christian faith with any other (with all respect to the people of all religions). It is different and it is superior. and le
